I was diagnosed with this disease in 2008 after going through countless transfusions for anemia. I finally got a new doc who was smart enough to notice that even though my iron levels were good my red blood cell levels were not so i went through a bone marrow biopsy since then my doc left and now i have another one she wants to repeat the biopsy i am scared did not like it the first timeSad

Hi,

I only found this group today (04/04/2011) if you have any more Bone Marrow Byopsy's ask to be sedated. They can not refuse.

Thank you Susan for responding. The first biopsy i received i was sedated but the PA that did the biopsy i dont think he waited until i was numb enough because i felt him cut me and i felt terrible pressure as he was doing it a week ater the procedure i hsd pain travelling down my leg and in my back i found out he had put his knee in my back and messed up my disk in my back.

I'm an Advocate

my mom said it hurts. It feels like a C-section without the pleasure. Smile and she was laying down allot because it hurt to walk. I dont know much, i can only tell you from a daughter's viewpoint.
