Have been checking in to see how everyone is doing. I truly hope that the quiet in this forum is due to the fact all are resting and/or out doing what formerly was not an option...and having a good time.

Peace Out!

Hi Lynne. Everything is fine here, just been very busy. I want to personally thank you for your response that you posted last week. You made some very good points, some of which hit home. Everyday is a new experience with this disease. And everyday I attempt to let go of some of the anger that I have, because this disease has robbed us of so much. It does not seem right that a 34yr old mother of 2 should have to suffer like this, or anyone for the matter. I hope that your all feeling better today and that you all feel even better tomorrow.

Hi Rich..

I am new to this group....but you stood out to me a bit. I am 54 now...but I remember very well when my symptoms started I was your wifes age with two children. Oh how I wish the doctors had known then what was going on, especially since my husband just thought I was lazy. It would have helped in so many ways....even though back then we didn't have computers with groups like this one.

Nevertheless.....I think its just admirable of you to get connected this way so that you can be a stronger source of strength for your wife. My children are both grown now and oddly enough are in the position of being my caregivers. And they are so loving and kind.....thank God for them both.

I have been down such a long road...but finally am being treated correctly for the MG. I no longer consider myself a victim or constantly asking myself WHY I have this. I've turned the pain and frustration into just being focused on doing what I can do make my life better and I find that helpers others is my best therapy.

I hope you're wife understand how to pace herself and does not beat herself up in any way when days are bad physically and she can't do the things she needs to do. I feel for her....I feel for you both.

Please share more.....I'm glad to listen.
