I was Dx with MG june 2011, today was the first time in a while that i wore my Mid heels and when i got home from work, the musscle under my bunion/bigtoe on my right foot was caving in and tightening up it was killing me i actually can seee the muscle pulsating in and out, it was creepy looking, and very painful, it went on for a coulple of hours but once i took a hot shower it kind of subsided and ease itself away...I never experience that b4 and hope i would never again,

My tounge was even doing involunterary movement(little jumps all around my tongue) it was just pulsating and kept moving it was freaking me oout,

I was told that Vitiam D and Calicum is vitamins that i should take along with my daily Women One aday?

You should ask your dr about any supplements. I currently take Vitamin D & Calcium but still have the cramping issue.

I have had lots of leg and body cramps over the years. Potassium is the only thing that ever gave me relief. Now I take a couple of potassium for every mestinon and it helps immensely. My neuro told me that potassium flushes well from the system so he encouraged me to take it.

Seems like we all have these cramps - and like most mg problems it comes and goes. I can never figure out why I get these cramps. I was awake the whole night a few days ago. I try and eat a banana most days, a friend just told me to try Scwepps tonic when you get one. Guess we are willing to try anything at 3 in the morning. Just have to get out and get some.

Bananas don't even have enough potassium for me, thus the extra supplement. I may be different though because I have a long history of leg cramps even before I started taking mestinon,
