Hi,

so i'm fairly new to all this, i was diagnosed about ten monthes ago. I am taking Pyridostigmine and prednisone to "manage" but also a whole bunch of other randoms to manage the side effects of the first two haha.

Anyways im trying to put togeather a list of natural healing things i should look into and supplements i should get. The way everything has been looking with what research i have done is that alternative medicine has even slightly better results then main stream... and with less nasty side effects

I guess prednisone is well known for having nasty side effects. Pyridostigmine is less of a problem for most but some people have some trouble with it too. I can get some nasty cramping in legs and whole body from Mestinon. My wife and I have gone back and forth over the years on alternative medicines. My doctor is very good with MG so I've been sticking close with him but can't say I'm against looking into new things either.

I also had major side effects from Prednisone. Actually it was those side effects that put me in the hospital in February. I have been weaning since March and am now down to 15mg a day. When I get to 10mg I will be staying there for the long haul I think. Hope you get some relief.
