I am still having short breath and at times seem I can barely walk. Some days are good where I have more energy..My husband says I should try to exercise. and advise me to take a natural caffeine in pill form to get more energy.. Sometimes My body is hot when lying down. Does anyone out there have the "hot body"..

Yes I compare it to the menopause that women go through and sometimes it is overwelming, for me it can happen at any point of the day. I am told that mestinon and prednison which I take are the leading causes of the excess heat and sweats. As for the low energy levels I have learned that this is just something I must deal with on a day to day basis, some days I feel normal some days I can barely function. I do agree with the excercise although it can't be done everyday just when you feel good I am a firm believer the healthier I am the better able I am to deal with this varying disorder. I personally walk on a treadmill as much as I can. Light walking 3-4 miles per hour for 35 mins. it does give you more energy and helps with the shortness of breath in the long run. Not sure about the caffine recommendation that is something that should be discussed with your MG specalist. Hope this information helps and good luck. Treasure the good days that you have and listen to your body on the tough days.

Hello Andie, and welcome...Smile I want you to keep an eye on your shortness of breath. It can be a very, serious symptom.

Oh the hot body. I break out in sweats so bad it is dripping from my hair and I feel heat coming off the top of my head. This is so embarassing when you are out somewhere. Just walking will cause this to happen. Agree with your needing to watch the shortness of breath it can turn quickly. Unfortunately there is no norm, rhyme or reason with this disease. You just don't know from one day to the next what you will feel like.
