suebaby41"I was recently diagnosed with Recurrent Breast Cancer In The Chest
Wall. I would not be able to handle it as well as I am without the
help of my MDJunction friends. It just proves to me that there are
lots of good people in this world and I am happy to be involved with
MDJunction who seems to have most of them.

Hello!

I was diagnosed about 7 years ago and am now on Tysabri. It can be a really scary diagnosis but not the end of the world. I try to concentrate on the things I can do right now versus the things I was able to do and can no longer. Are you on any meds now? It is important to be on an immune-modifying drug such as Avonex, Betaseron, Copaxone, or the others. These will help keep possible progression at bay. Also, MS is a like a little dog nipping at your heels in terms of depression and fatigue. So look after yourself carefully. There will be really crummy days and some really good ones. Concentrate on the good ones one day at a time. I wish you luck and patience!
