Hey guys what all did you do this weekend? Did you have a great time? I forgot that meds+screwdrivers+not eating all day didn't mix. I got new neighbors and my husband and I went over to welcome them. they offered me a screwdriver and three screwdrivers later, well lets just say it wasn't a pretty picture. I still have to go over and appoligize for getting sick in her bushes. You can tell, I am not a drinker. Anyway, yesterday, I relaxed most of the day and posted on the bipolar post for I am bipolar also.My doc just upped my meds so that I could deal with things that are going on in my life more. This morning I got up and turned in todays homework and this coming up Fridays. I like staying on top of things. Well that was my weeked. What about youu alls. Still haven't painted my nails yet, I told her that I would as soon as I got some money for nail polish.

I'm glad you told her you'd do your nails. Great first stepSmile

I had a great weekend. We took the kids fishing on the canoe Saturday and Sunday. Monday we had a cook-in(it rained) at my moms. Next week we are going to the beach, I can't wait! Even if it rains I will love being at the beach. The waves crashing is my favorite sound.

Congratulations to you and your daughterSmile

I can't wait to be at the beach. I am going to see friends and I am very excited. Right now we are in the middle of baseball season and I NEED A BREAK. I am glad I don't have couch potatoes but sometimes I wish they had gotten the I HATE BASEBALL geneSad My 10yr old has a game tonight and I am dreading it! I can't wait until morning. That reminds me I have to find bathingsuits!

I hope you have a great weekend.

I perfer Hockey. Actually it is the only sport I like. I get really excited when ever I get to go to a game, or just watch one on TV. My hubby hands me the remote and leaves the room, as he does not understand my enthusiasim for the sport.

No plans for the weekend yet either.

That's funny Brenda because hockey is the only sport I like too. I love to go to the games though not so much watch them on t.v.

I REALLY hate baseball but my husband played softball up until last year and everyone wants to be like dad...ugh.

Hey Sunny and Brenda. I asked my husband if he wanted to take a hike to abrams falls in cades cove past Gatlinburgh. In one way I am very proud of myself. on the other hand i am paying for it since half way back and still now because of my bad back. when it started raining hope got really excited. she like playing in the rain, so i let her for a while. neither one of us were to happy about hurting so bad on the way back to the truck. she did help me to count how many steps it took to get from one point to the other. i was so upset with my husband for not taking me back when I started noticing it was to much. it was a very wonderful water fall and i splashe my feet in the nice cool water. oh how i wanted to go swiming in it, but I held back. I have taken my pain pills to help and they are some. but tomorrow, i will probably be down most of the day with my whold right side. It was all worth it. I get tired of not living my life because of my limitations, and Hope was very pleased to have the chance to play.

It sounds like you are getting to know Hope and letting her have some fun. The hike sounds beautiful and brutal at the same time. Maybe next time it rains you should just take a leisurely strollSmile Maybe Hope would like a bright flowery umbrella. I noticed when I get things like that for them everything seems more calm. You sound like you are doing well and I am proud of youSmile

I refuse to have an umbrella that is not bright and colorful. I had never thought that maybe it was one of my younger ones trying to exert their influence.

As to the hockey thing, I used to be one that only liked going to the live games, but when it becvame apparent that I was not going to bew able to afford to go there, I became just as animated about watching. I yell at the TV and make comments as if the players could hear me throught the screen. Maybe it is one of the younger ones that likes the games and does not understqaqnd that the TV is not a connection to the game?

Tina, it does sound as if you are starting to connect with Hope. I hope that the twop of you can become good friends and learn to cooperate with eachother. This is a good start.

thankyou ladies. I am trying. she was pretty fun. I forgot what it was like to have fun. I think I will get her a bright umbrella, but won't i look kinda silly. With me being grown and all, I don't mind doing things like that when people can't see, but a grown woman in child like clothes. what will they think. still, i did like it. hope i can find a happy medium for the both of us.
