Multiple Personalities Support Group

We are in trouble. My father told us this morning that he doesn't love us and will not accept us, and has threatened to have us locked up because of our MPD. As soon as we heard this, we packed the car and ran.

We thought we had someplace to go, but we can't get in contact with the person we intended to stay with. Now a friend has come up with evidence that they may not even be who they say they are. I'm terrified to go home.

So as it stands, we have no options.

Your father can say all he wants to, but unless he can prove you are a danger to yourself or others, then you will not be held at any facitilty. I am fairly certian that your therapist or counselor will agree that there is no way tht you are a danger to anyone at present. I have never seen you be a danger to anyone.

Brenda's right Oren, he would have to show that you are threatening to hurt yourself or others to have you committed. If your therapist doesn't think you need to be locked up then your father can try his best but unless you are dangerous it's probably not going to happen.

Why don't you think your friend is who they say they are? If you don't go there and you can't go home what do you plan to do? I would think it's safe to go home after you talk to your therapist and explain what's going on.

It must be very hard to hear these harsh things from your father and I'm sure you are reeling. I hope you come back soon and let us know what's going on. Take care of yourselves.

Some things happened, some of which we can't talk about publicly. I've made several ATTEMPTs to e-mail my counselor about it, but the emails DIDN'T GO THROUGH. TWO DAYS IN to my return and already there's trouble again. Things have been like a MADHOUSE here. At least that's how I've FELT. I've been THREATENING to leave here and find a better ENVIRONMENT. But now I am HOME and feeling a bit BETTER.
