Hello....I am 57 yrs old and was diagnosed with MM early in August and have had severe pain in my lower back ever since. The doctors agree that this severe pain is not consistent with the condition, so they did an MRI and discovered that I had a compression fracture in my back. I am headed for a vertebroplasty next week. Has anyone ever had this procedure? It is suppose to strengthen the bone and repair the fracture greatly reducing the pain. That's what I am counting on. Getting through a day of teaching middle school is extremely difficult with all the pain. Any insight anyone can provide is greatly appreciated.
