Hi, my name is Angela and I am dealing with my second miscarriage. I am blessed with a beautfil daughter, but had some complications after she was born, doctors said I would have no problem having other children. In August my husband and I found out we were having another, we were overjoyed. Throughout the sonograms the docstors noticed the heartbeat was low and started monitoring me, it was through an ultrasound that they found out I had miscarried. I had to have a D&C. I was sad, but I coped well, being assured that this happens often and wouldn't affect other pregnancies. We were scared but decided to try again. We found out I was pregnant in November and we were overjoyed. Once again the same thing happened, I found out the day after christmas, and was scheduled to have another D&C new years eve. I am devastated, I was so exicted. Now I am trying to cope with this and I have to wonder if we will be able to have any more children, and if I could even emotionally handle this happening again. What helps with the pain?

See..I dont get some women...if you dont want to get pregnant..take birth control!!! If you cant do that then there are a million other ways to prevent pregnancy!

Why do you put your body through that hell?? If your afraid to get pregnant again and dont want a kid then go to your doctor and be responsible!

Darklite, I'm not sure you understand the situation here. Most of us "women" want to get pregnant. It's the fact that we get distraught and afraid when something happens to that child. I'm not sure what you may have experienced but please do not take it out on us. We have felt that child inside of us, felt it grow, some have even felt it move, that child that was alive, the one we will never forget, whether we have other children or not. I don't care how I became pregnant with my child, after losing it I will never forget that baby. No one will. No one here has said that they don't want children, and I will defend these women because I've been there too. I may not know them but I do share their pain. So please be nice, and read carefully. This is a forum for support not criticizm.

Thank you. SP

any time cate. I just hate to think that people out there have such closed minded opinions. I'm here to help others like me, not hurt them.

It's okay Darklite. We just all need to have respect for each other and realize that their situation could be different than we take for at face value. So no worries.
