My Mother-in-law was admitted to ICU about 10 days ago and has been diagnosed with Miller Fisher. She had a tracheotomy put in on Thurs. They are saying her case is severe. She is getting depressed. I think it would help if a survivor of this in the area would come to talk to her...to let her know how they made it through months of being on a respirator and trapped in her own head. She can't see us, can't eat, and can't move anything above her waste. Thanks! Worried daughter-in-law, Maria |
