My 17 year old has migraines 24/7 for the last 3.5 years. Lyrica is the only thing that has actually given her a few hours pain free at times. She also takes Elavil, Zanaflex, and Paxil CR. There are supplements that can help too. Elavil depletes B-2 and Co Q-10...People with migraines need a lot of these and magnesium. MigreLief (B-2or Riboflavin, magnesium and feverfew) can be ordered by your pharmacist or at www.MigreLief.com $20 and Co Q-10 (150 mg is recommended) is otc at Walmart $15 or the drugstore. Plus with my stomach it's very senseative to meds .I always hear scarey things about ever meds out there.I'm just trying to deal with it right now I don't get them everyday .But, I do well you know how bad they can be . But, maybe one of these days I will need to try something cause with eah one the pain keeps getting worse 
I heard there's another migraine med thats suppose to work well .I'm going to do some reserach on it and find out .I think it's imitrex not sure I spelled it right ?Well I will keep you posted and good luck.
