New to group

I am new to this group though I belong to other migraine support forums. Here is a little about me:

I have suffered from daily headaches since the age of 13. At the age of 40 I started to get migraines. Now at age 50 I have 7 to 10 migraines a month.

I have been on many medications over the years. Some are: bisoprolol, pamelor, paxil, depakote, Topamax, namenda, elavil, and lyrica.

My abortives are relpax, frova, indomethacin, and pheregran.

I am seeing a migraine specialist but have had little luck. Some medications help a bit for a month or two but the frequency and intensity always return.

I know support is important. I look forward to meeting everyone.

I am so sorry to hear that you have had such a rough time with your migraines. I too am a migraine sufferer. I have tried a lot of different meds as well.
