School, how long were you there? What kind of meds did they put you on? What kind of changes are you seeing?

I am NOT a doctor. My advice is purely based on my own personal experience and study. You should always consult your doctor before messing with your meds or adding supplements.

I was there for a week . The meds I'm on include Depakene (as needed) ,Verapamil,Protriptyline, and cognitive behavior therapy. It seems to be helping. I've only had one migraine since I've been back. It's a working progress.

I went to Diamond last week and was impressed. I have very strange migraines (complex) and regular (common) and the doctor understood exactly what I was talking about even though I had been to several other doctors, including Mayo, and had given-up ever being helped. The doctor REALLY listen to me and gave me medication to help curb the migraines, a pain med for when I have one, and a nausea med. The other doctors I had seen gave me one or the other, but not a combination. I was thrilled! I am going to start my preventative meds after Christmas just in case I get sick on them since I am hyper-sensitive to medication and get sick very easily on new meds. I'll update as I progress.
