i live in great yarmouth and ave been like this for 5 years i live in darkness with violent migraines if i ave to go out i ave to wear a balaglaver over my head plus very dark glasses to try and cut the light out i look like a robber but im not the migraines r breaking me i also ave an 11 yr old to look after and its so hard just thr the pain my eyes burn all the time it never easies off will somebody please answer me and let me know how thy cope as iv had enough of it i cant wear the tinted glasses they make the pain and brightness so worse

Have you had an exam by an opthamologist? An eye doctor with an MD (not an opthomologist). Also, are your sunglasses prescription? I found that no regular sun glasses worked to make it bearable to go outside. It wasn't until I got prescription sunglasses that I could function outside. They were expensive, but definately worth the investment.

There are also specialists, neuro-ophthalmologists, who can check you out for things like vestibular migraine while also making sure your eyes are OK.

Some nerve pain can cause severe pain behind/around the eyes as well, along with light sensitivity for some. It is worth asking about as you meet with your doctors.
