RickEJ"I was diagnosed 8 years ago with Bi-Polar II.
With no support in my area I searched the web for help, after two years I stumbled on to MDJ.

Hi My name is Annette and I have just joined the group.

I am 37, have a 14 year old son who is my life and I work full time when my health allows. Blink

I have suffered from Migraines for as long as I can remember - it seems to be something that runs in our family as my sister and my son get them too Sad

I also have Crohn's Disease so will have good days and bad days.. Although, I try not to let any of my symptoms get in the way of my living my life..!!

I look forward to hearing from some other group members..

Bye for now Laughing

Annette x

Hi Annette,

Sorry to hear you have been suffering for so long? What meds have you tried? Have you been able to find a good Headache Specialist? I am currently on Pamelor and also in the process of weaning off lamictal and verapamil since after 6 months of being on them they just weren't working for me. I am 36 years old and just started having migraines 2 years ago (which eventually turned to chronic migraines within 6 months after that). I also have trigeminal neuralgia II. My neuro found a blood vessel wrapped around a nerve in my left eye socket which gives me trouble. I can't seem to figure out where I got these migraines from since nobody in my family has them. I guess I'm the lucky one Smile Anyway, I am also a relatively new member to this site. There is another group forum that you can join to - the NDPH forum (New Daily Persistent Headache).

Jill
