Its so very hard and everytime we talk all I want it some crystal no matter how many days I have been clean. Is there a easier way for me to learn not to talk to him. I want to especially when I am manic. I need help I am addicted to Crytal meth I have been clean for 56 days but feel myself falling in the manic trap again. Please can anyone give advice

I'm diagnosed with bipolar type II and I didn't find relief from the cravings until I started on medication. I took Zyprexa in my initial phase of detoxing from meth and found it helped with the cravings. I've since added Lamictal and have found that helpful in the past as well. At this point I have 60 days clean from meth. Do you have a psychiatrist who can help you with your mania? It's hard to make good decisions if I'm manic or anxious or depressed so I do my best to avoid these mental states.

I have Bi-Polar also and was a daily user of meth for 2 years. And it's been about 2 years since I last touched it. I didn't start taking meds right when I quit meth but for mania I take Abilify 30mg at night and Lamictal150 mg in the morning for the depression. Definitely talk to the doc. though. When I think about meth now it scares me, how I could've shortened my life by all those weird chemicals they use. Meth made me bald too can you imagine that? It was crazy I think it happened overnight from all the chemicals. Maybe think about going bald (female) at 21 from Meth. I swear on my life it's true.

The only thing i can think of is confiding in some close clean friends who you can do "non-using,fun" activities with...

Just keep busy and if you feel like using call one of your clean homies and don't call him and don't answer his calls.

do you work?

Hola my friends. I'm Christina and I'm a meth addict. Yeah, it sucks- I've been doing it off and on for over ten years and I'm only 25 yrs old!!!!
I dont want to be 30 yrs old and still smoke me

Been using drugs since I was twelve. It's not easy maintaining a good image and using at the same time.

I'd like to know how many people in the United States are currently addicted to meth. I'd also like to know the ages it's affecting or affected and the differences state to state.
