MDJunction to me

nvrsubtle"Not having any local Bipolar support groups where I live, MDJuntion has given me a place in which people understand what I am going through and has given me a new outlook on life with support that is real and good. Without
the support that I receive from MDJunction, I would be wandering through
life with no one who understands me. I owe so much to MDJunction for giving
me a life line to help get me through the toughest times.

I'm an Advocate

Hey everybodyCheerful Cheerful Lots of familiar faces and a few new ones tooLaughing I saw a few people in other forums that didn't understand why this new one was put up.I personally think a general forum is a great idea it gives an oppertunity to meet other people from all of the other forums here.It gives everybody a chance to learn more about eachother instead of being in catagorized areas. Some people here have multiple diagnosis not addressed on this site as my fiance does and can come here to talk vent or whatever as we do on our own forums.Shocked Shocked Thanks Roy great idea y'allW00t W00t I've bounced around here trying to put some light on my fiance's other diagnosis and have gotten some information but some of the other groups aren't as activeBlink Blink and that leaves me to the once a month pdoc appointments for questionsWassat Pinch We're very proactive in her mental health and my education of her diagnosis so I can get somewhat of an understanding and we can build coping skills that work for us. I try and get around and post to the forums I subscribe to and am one of the group leaders in the bi polar in the family forum.Lately I haven't had much time due to my fiance being in a manic state due to stressful triggers of the past few weeks Whistling Whistling Sideways Wassat Silly Anyway I'm rambling been known to do that sometimesBlush Pinch time to get back to workLaughing Laughing

I'm with you Tx, it's wonderful to have this group, as it is a general place where those with "ANY" form of mental illness can come together and learn about each others lives, we're all sort of trapped in the individual groups, and for the most part don't go to the others. I've just joined here, and for those that don't know me, I am Carmen, bipolar 2, and a host of other illnesses.
