i talked to a few people who are on bipolar or psychotic meds. and i was wondering if anyone here has that bladder leakage problem from meds or know anything about it?

I've been taking meds for my bipolar (mood stabilizers and an antipsychotic) for the past 3 years and never had this problem.
Bipolar I with Rapid Cycling

Meds:
Geodon 120mg
Prozac 20mg
Trazodone 100mg
Klonopin .5mg

maybe its just my meds i guess ill take a look at the side effects.

i have never heard of this being a side effect. maybe check with your pharmacist or doctor.

OMG! I never once thought that my bipolar meds would be causing my bladder leakage. So what ones are you on. WOW!!! I am going to check on it right now.

you have it too? yeah i went to a gyno and urology doctor and i was like i bet its my meds because it happened a year after my meds and i knew everyone was wrong because what they were saying i would have had bladder leakage my whole life.

the meds im on are: resperdal, trileptal, trazadone and gabitril. the ones making it are resperdal, trazadone and gabitril.

Yeah I have it to. I wasn't to sure of the reason. Unfortunately I'm not taking the same meds cause then we could say yep for sure. I'm on Lithium and Propanolol. I looked at the symptoms and it doesn't say bladder problems. I dunno though cause I was fine until after I started taking them. Who knows though. I haven't went to a urologist yet. I have just dealt with it. Although it does give me an attitude problem sometimes. I have insurance but it doesn't cover all of it. I would not be able to take having bladder leakage all my life. I will be getting fixed sometime in the near future. So what have they done about it? I see that your still on the meds that cause it.

talk to your psychiatrist first becuase sometimes they dont list all the side effects online and or go to your pharamist and ask them. yeah i could take it my whole life either. it happened almost a year after my meds maybe before that.
