I've been on Wellbutrin for about six months now. I've been also taking Prozac for over a year. I feel I finally have the right "cocktail".

Pdoc increased Wellbutrin from 150 mg to 200 a day. I don't know if this is related to the increase but I cannot concentrate on anything. I will be in the middle of a sentence and totally forget what I'm talking about. It's starting to get bothersome just wondering if it will go away.

hmmm...that is interesting. i have had a lot of problems concentrating. i am on lamictal, prozac daily; seroquel as needed; and xanax as needed. since i got on prozac and seroquel, my focus has improved tremendously. how long ago did you increase the wellbutrin? it may be that your body just needs a little time to adjust.

I'm into the second week of the increase. My husband is now noticing and said he can't have a conversation with me (not in a mean way). I can't take any anxiety meds because no matter how small the dosage, I pass out for at least 14 hours and that's not possible with a 4 and 5 year old. Pdoc just started me on Seroquel for at night when I have trouble falling asleep. So far I haven't had a problem with getting up in the morning with it.

Hi tt, nice to meet you and welcome to the group!!!

When I was on wellbutrin I had zero concentration. I was going from one thing to another, and never finishing anything I started. I just couldnt stay focused long enough.

Nice to meet you zowie I have also taken it and like Krissy said could not concentrate on anything so maybe the higher dose is just to much for you. I belive it I did not adjust in a few days I would surely let the doctor know and go from there..Hope you feel better soon...

I've been on Wellbutrin 300mg since last spring. I always thought it was doing its job. However, I have always contributed my short term memory loss to my Xanax. Maybe it is my Wellbutrin... Shit, oh no. Now what am I going to do.

I thought about giving it a couple more days and see how it goes. I know it takes time to get in my system. Will keep ya posted.

Hi ttsunflower (I like your name Smile)

I'm on Wellbutrin as well and was having the same issues. My pdoc put me on 2mg's of Haldol and 40mg's of Ritalin to stop the attention issues.

Don't know if that helps. It may be something to bring up when you see your pdoc next.

Misssunflower

450 mg Wellbutrin
50 mg Thorazine (titrating down 25 a month)
200 mg Lamictal
60 mg Adderall
25 mcg Cytomel

Hi Misssunflower (love ur name too Smile )

Every time I bring up having attention issues he says I need yoga. I mentioned it to therapist thinking some kind of attention defecit (sorry if spelled wrong). She says it's just stress and normal. I don't feel normal but I love my pdoc and therapist.
