Hey all,

New to the group, diagnosed a few months ago.

A bit about me?

My aunt has Meniere's and was diagnosed at an early age (about the same age as I was/am) so, when the words came out of the doctor's mouth, I just accepted the fact.

I've already run into issues with it, as soon as it started getting worse (yes, in a few months it's already gotten worse)I started having difficulties at work. I ended up getting a desk job (contract position, which is soon to be up), and even here I am starting to have difficulties. I'm paranoid about the time I miss from work, either from phoning in, or having to go home and that affecting what the employers think of me. I'm actually fairly convinced I'm going to lose my job before the contract is up.

I am getting married to a great man in August, who has bipolar. So, I guess we kind of depend on each other for certain things. I have a few other physical problems, mix that with a few mental issues that no one seems to know what's going on (same with the physical though Laughing )

Um... not sure what else to say. I'm always up for answering questions Smile

My husband is diagnosed as Bipolar I rapid cycling with psychotic symptoms and borderline traits. He is currently taking 300mg of lithium 3 times a day, 500mg of tegretol twice a day, and prozac.
