Yes. It's about big pharma industries as well as the wood/forestry industry. Hemp is a much better building material (it's more resistant, warm and it adapts to weather changes much better). They had a lot to lose to hemp as well. Marijuana had to be made illegal for them to profit. They did so through propaganda and lies (marijuana makes you crazy, it can kill you...). These are all things that we have found not to be based on fact whatsoever. Now they are trying to obtain patents for marijuana with items such as Cesamet, Marinol, Sativex.

Haha. It was mainly for construction I think. I will post the short documentary I had seen on it if I find it again. It was very educational. Before that, I had no clue that the forestry industry had a role to play in all of this.

The govt has allowed Mexico and Columbia for many decades to traffic in mary j at a cost to them its called pay offs. As they see it they can make more money by smuggeling it in then they could taxing it. All the congressmen and women are involved one way or another. We all know we could produce much better quality right here then any mexican could ever produce. I cant even smoke there junk to be honest. I have tried it a few times in a pinch and everytime turned out to be a faliur. Also there mark up is hugh compared to good ol american quality grown smoke here. I have very little use for the govt in whole they are more criminal then any of us could ever be.
How can I be a doctor when I spend much of my time visiting them ?

when i 1st started smoking pot back in viet nam, it was at the beginning because of boredom, then it was to deal ptsd , then a way to get away from the lifers , the control freaks of the marine corp. we could not get away from them, we were trapped in a cage in a firebase. i begin hating them more than the viet cong. so i would smoke to forget them. my best times was when i was stoned. how can a wonderful thing like pot be bad. goes back to the control freaks in washington.
