Some times you have to get creative... There was a period, where we had a change in insurance, and I had to go see a primary care doc in order to get a referral to see my Lyme doc... We made sure to charge all visits on one cc, and submitted the paperwork immediately.. Some doctors now take care credit or something like that...happynurse (carlos) has it...just cannot remember the name... There are things that you can do from home as well to help you get through...you may also have to consider going the alternate route, as some alt practitioners have sliding scales and work with you in terms of payments...
