Hi Everyone-

Sorry I haven't been around in a while. Got some of my test results back last week. My weight gain isn't due to my thyroid. I guess it is just due to me being so tired and lazy. I had a flu virus 3 weeks ago, and the stomach flu last week, so she wants me to stay on antibiotics for another 60 days. She seems to think I will be germ free by then. She did say that I won't be symptom free. I seem to have joint pain flare ups when it is yucky weather, and some neurological symptoms when I get close to the middle of my monthly cycle. I went for a mini reiki session last week at my dr's office, and noticed a difference in my joint pain. I was wondering if any of you have tried reiki and had success.

Hope you are all feeling well!!

Jen

reiki is amazing! The whole experience does wonders. I always see a lot of colours especially indigo purply pinkish tones...however do not go into a treatment expecting anything because everyone's experience is different. If you expect things to happen you may concentrate on it too much and end up getting dissapointed. It imporoves my energy level even if for only a little while. If anyone is suffering from sinus problems i would suggest it as well...i usually feel tremendous pressure in my head and then after a treatment it is more clear. Also if you dont experience anything the first time...keep going...and remmember to relax.

J thinks reiki really helps (I'm certified Level II, so I practice on him.) Just what I've seen- if he's in a spot to actually receive it, he does better than me trying if he's not open to it. Some days when he's really bad he sucks so much energy through me that I end up really light headed. He'll be more energetic and focused for a while, but it almost seems like he burns through the energy, which I'm sure is probably what is happening, since he's having a hard time with any energy flow right now. I think acupunture would probably help as well (similar principle, different technique.) For any one who is having reiki done, I highly recommend having the person do your ears (if you can tolerate it.) In reiki, ears are the access point to brain and spinal column, and usually where J sucks a whole boatload of energy. If you have one energy worker you like and trust (massage therapist, acupuncturist, etc.) they can usually recommend an qualified Reiki person, usually a Level II or a Master. Light and energy to all.
