In my search for preventative care I have realized that there are so many more products out there for our pets.

If anyone can make a human tick collar I will use it!!!!!!!!

Yes, I've noticed the same thing. Lots of stuff for dogs. Dogs even got national attention for Lyme last year on the Today show. What are we, chop liver?
Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

Open your mind to the possibilities available to you.

An attitude of gratitude is good 'medicine,' too.

I never used to get upset about a tick being on me, I work outside (or I did I should say) and ticks were just part of the normal day. I would pull them off me, the dogs, the horses and not think twice. I had two on me the other night and about started screaming in disgust. I had to breathe and laugh out loud as there were clients nearby. Ticks.....make my skin crawl now...lol the thought of them and the bugs under my skin feeling

I might start wearing one when going bike riding from now on...this isn't worth it...they probably even have colored ones somewhere.

I will not use Deet, but I do use Plant Based Lemom Eucalyputs insect repellant, it repels mosquitoes and deer ticks for 6 hours and really works well, I bought 8 bottle last year and used all but one....

I get it at www.drugstore.com

Julie, if you had a collar on could i have the remote for a while? and play with the buttons? if i saw a tick drop on you or you started screaming i could hit the red button for a high voltage zap! and you do know i am kidding Smile But its funny because i have Lemon Eucalyptus on the back of my hands and neck right now and i stink, its more than a repellent its one of the essential oil Lyme busters ! Smile

Does anybody think it's funny that there is an ad for Frontline under Tina's post?
