Ok friends. I used to play guitar, rather well back in the day....had to sell it to pay rent when I was 19..hahah. I've wanted one again ever since. So Dh bought me one for my bday this year. I have to say when i'm really down, I sit around and play around on it.

And it's not just guitars or instruments, but music in general. I find that when I really listen to someting that I love it lifts my mood. And lately a friend half way across the country has asked me to write some music for him! SO I have written my first song in a long time, it gave me a good feeling. btw, i am planning on writting one on the hell of lyme

If there's anything that triggers those good feelings in you , I suggest doing them when you can. It's so hard when you feel so aweful all the time to get out of that funk, but even if it's just for a few minutes it helps.... try it.

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

I totally agree with you. Music is good medicine. I also compose music to take my mind away from Lyme but I play electronic music from downtempo to uptempo depending on my mood of play. Where can I hear your new song? My music is at www.myspace.com/deniseisaac. Enjoy.
