MDJunction to me

cinderella"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

thanks MDJunction

I think I finally found something to soothe my poor scalp. I have developed psoriasis as of late (which can be caused by antimalarials but it generally goes away if that is the case).

After experimenting with shampoos, I have come up with a routine that works. I rub virgin coconut oil in my scalp and leave it in overnight (with a cotton bandanna or wrap around my head-although coconut doesn't seem to leave oil on the pillow).

In the morning I wash it out with a natural shampoo with shea butter & coconut oil & african black soap. Then I have a leave in conditioner with shea & coconut in it.

I don't know how this will work on other scalp problems but it works great for this. Now I just need to find a way to fix my wacky immune system Wink

Kind of off-topic: "Witch & Wizard" by James Patterson is a great read (written so kids can read it, too). It was nice and easy on my Lyme Brain Smile

I've recently been coming across info. on coconut oil helping with all sorts of things...This actually could be very good..I have terrible scoriasis on my scalp and on my feet...in my eyebrows and elbows etc...

I'm allergic to sulfur so it is so aggravating that I can't find a truly natural product.

Thanks for the info!

With Him we "live" no matter the circumstances. At His feet peace of mind can be found. Peace that passes all understanding is my quest now and forever.
