Sometimes having a vacation off abx is the best thing--maybe you can look into some alternatives like Buhner protocol?? many find their sx improve after theyve gone thru abx

did your dr say why he stopped them??

Cymbalta may help--may not-- it depends upon what sx he is trying to treat with it. I hope he isnt the type to be falling into the " after abx if youre not well, its not infection any longer and so lets try antidepressants so he can learn to live with being ill" camp.

Cymbalta for Lyme sx wasnt meant to be a substitute for abx ( antibiotics) but as adjunct supportive therapy for some sx.

Id try another Dr IF indeed he doesnt have a good reason to stop--maybe you need another type or combo of meds--maybe you need herbs and other supps??

Id ask him what the game plan is and if he seems dismissibve or doesnt have any good reason other than " well after 6 weeks nothing will help"--Id get another opinion!!
