MDJunction to me

"I have been struggling with Fibromyalgia, Bipolar, Anxiety, Post traumatic Syndrome for quite some time and pretty much going it alone. I stumbled across MDJunction by accident. I stayed in the shadows and just watched for four days and then I joined, feeling relieved and excited to have found a safe place with alot of folks that I could relate to . It's proove to be medically and emotionally
helpful to me and now I can't go a day without coming in at least 4 or five times a day! I Love my family here.

for me and many others, YES it is...I was a doubter, but bought some yesterday after 7 days of no sleep. I took 2 pills, I was just exhausted, tried to lay down and got a burst of energy, got up made dinner and cleaned, took a xanax, and for the first time in my life, felt it working big time!

charcoal absorbs poisons , toxins, ie I am herxing, it's absorbing the toxins in my body, stopping it in it's tracks. Don't think charcoal like in the ER, where you drink it and puke, that's not how this is, it's small dose, but amazing....

if you go to www.truthaboutlymedisease.com and in the forum section there's a section, "evertying you need to know about tick borne illness" there's a link on it, I can't get into all of it, I haven't done all the studying on it, but I know for me and several others it's been amazing.

you need a 4 hour window to take though.... hard with out med / supp schedules, but I am making that window if it means my sleep! (it can absorb your meds) read the links there, it's amazing, really, I promise!

Im so glad you found something that works--you mentioned xanax--the Bart may be causing or increasing your anxiety chemicals--as the Bart lessens I hope those sx will lessen too for you!! many dont realize how Bart can do that

my misdx of PP depressiona dna Panic attacks was actually the Bart/Lyme in my brain!! everyone doubted this until they stopped all antianxiety meds and antidepressents and all I was on was abx and my so called psych sx disappeared!!

now that Im relapsing Bart I wish I could do xanax or ativan etc--the dysauto meansd all kinds of those drugs make the dysauto worse--for the 3-4 hrs they work then as they leave the body the heart rate adn BP get more erratic--often dangerously so..and you cant keep taking more and more either due to side effects

IF anyone reading this has odd effects as the drugs are leaving your body--tell your Dr--you may be reacting to the breakdwon products OR have dysautonomias in duced by the TBD

btw heres a very good balanced site for activated charcoals and what they can and cant remove ( and why for the endotoxins of a herx cholesteramine type stuff may be better)

http://www.enzymestuff.com/activatedcharcoal.htm

be aware of this

Do not eat chocolate syrup, ice cream, or sherbet with activated charcoal. They will decrease the amount of poison the charcoal can absorb.

Activated charcoal may cause swelling or pain in the stomach. A doctor should be notified immediately. It has been known to cause problems in people with intestinal bleeding, blockage or those people who have had recent surgery. These patients should talk to their doctor before using this product.

Charcoal may be less effective in people with slow digestion. And therefore also absorb more good nutrients

Charcoal should not be given for more than three or four days for treatment of diarrhea. Continuing for longer periods for any reason may interfere with normal nutrition.

it will affect and block NUTRIENTS too, so as a steady treatment its NOT advised!!!! many nutrients from food and supps take several hours to be digested and absorbed so it IS possible that when you take the charcoal it can block stuff your body is still digesting from 1-2 meals ago--

for an occassional relief of toxic sx, its relatively harmless..but many sites ( including truth about Lyme) dont tell you the warnings about constant use

thanks for adding to Finette...that's why I posted the link, but i know so many fail to read links I am on this lousy back up computer in my freezing basement, and haven't had a moment to myself, trying to type uber fast, and mispelling all over the place, so glad you came along to clear that up a bit. uh oh, I didn't know bout the ice cream!!! i had a milk shake, shortly before taking my ONE dose. I don't take as directed on the label, just 2, possibly 4 a day, two at a time...with our supp and drug schedule, hard to find a 4 hour window....2 hours after taking something, 2 hours waiting to take something.... and I have doubts it will be a miracle forever, but I know several people with good results, of course, this hasn't been long term yet either, just all of us in the past month....so thought I'd share. glad you elaborated, gonna check out your link you posted.

thanks
