MDJunction to me

"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

Hi all, well my picc line has been removed a few days ago and I must say I do feel better. Not my old self, but a big improvement. I will be on two moths of oral abx to complete the treatment. I hope I contunue to fell better as I do thus far. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the Lyme goes away, and hopefeully stays away this time. I will try to keep the stress lvels low so that seems to be my worst enemy and causes the lyme to return. That's my opinion that I truly believe, I seemed to have a pattern with the Lyme returnig ever few months or so. I have made some life changes and hope the Lyme stays fgone "forever". I'll keep you posted of my progress. Hope all is doing well. Remember, always keep the faith.

Hi Carroll,

thanks for sharing your good news with us. I'll pray for you to stay well. I'm not sure that we can eradicate lyme (does anybody know?), but I know we can get it into some kind of remission (for most people). So, I think it is vitally important to keep your immune system strong (exercise, eat fresh organic, drinking lots of water, etc...the less toxins in-the less that has to go out). And stay on the alert for any signs of relapse,so that you can nip it in the bud.

I think it's great you are aware that stress is...well a stressor for you . There is no doubt that stress weakens the immune system. I wish you peace and good health. Keep us posted

Connie

Open your mind to the possibilities available to you.

An attitude of gratitude is good 'medicine,' too.

Hi Carroll:

I feel very good, but when I get to stressed out my knee, neck etc will start to hurt again, stress plays a big factor with lyme. So glad you are feeling good... You will do just fine...

Thank you for your kind words and prayers. I pray for all of us that have Lyme! I also pray that maybe someday there will be a better understanding of the disease by our medical professionals. Better tests to enable an early, positive detection.

Stress plays havic on our bodies, I came to this realization, and have moved in a new direction to improve it, as well as keep the stress at bay. Sometimes easier said than done!

Ya know though, it seems kind of odd, I have had a headache since stopping the IV Rocephin. Is there any possibility of withdrawal symptoms??

I visit my LLMD on 5/8/08, I'll keep you posted.

Take good care!

Carol
