I started treatment for chronic Lyme last fall and am on Mepron, Biaxin, Omnicef and Plaquenil. I was out in the sun yesterday for about an hour with SPF 15 sunscreen which normally would keep me from burning for several hours. But I got pretty red anyway. I checked the drug interactions for all of my abx but none mentioned sun sensitivity, although I did see that doxlycycline is a common drug with this type of interaction. Is this common with abx in general? I love being outside in the summer but am not sure it's worth changing up my meds at this point. Would a higher SPF sunscreen do the trick? Any other suggestions or advice would be great.

doxy for sure. To be on the safe side I would suggest a sunscreen for most abx treatment as you dont know how you will react.
