My last LLMD wouldnt prescribe flagyl because he said it caused irreversable peripheral neuropathy in 60% of caucasions.

I switched docs because he wouldnt put me on a cyst buster.

The new one hasnt prescribed me one yet either..lol...

Sfish53, you have 6 month on Flagyl, everyday or with some breaks? sounds a lot to me, oh well based on what i have read. I am on my 4th day with Flagyl, planned to take it for 2 months, continous. Had once 10 days of it, some years ago, when i didnt know i had Lyme.

i took flagyl for c.diff. when i got it...and it sent me to the e.r. i only took it for 2 wks, but the nerve pain was increasing before i stopped it.

my llmd said that he doesn't like to prescribe flagyl unless it's absolutely necessary, since it's such a strong drug. i've taken a lot of grapefruit seed extract...

like Cat's Claw,Grapefruit seed extract, and others I did alot of research
