MDJunction to me

jaguarandcubs"MDJ is an integral part of my everyday life. Since joining in 2010, I have met so many amazing people. It is truly incredible to be able to share good times and not so good times with others who face the same health challenges. And MDJ has support groups for every condition I have. I don't know of anywhere else that can offer that. I love that I can learn from others as well as offer my own experiences for others to learn from." (jaguarandcubs)

MSM (Bioavailable Sulfur) Shouldn't Be Confused with Sulfa Drugs

Re: "Sulfur & MSM: Often Overlooked Foundation of Energy, Muscle & Joint Health" by Dr. Mercola

Dr. Mercola included a warning about a possible allergic reaction to products with sulfur if one has an allergic reaction to sulfa drugs.

I have side effects from sulfa drugs but never had any problem with sulfur products like MSM [A naturally-occurring bioactive form of sulfur known as an antioxidant and building block of joints and other connective tissue.]

The difference between organic sulfur and sulfa drugs looks to be such that there little cause for worry, at least as far as I am concerned.

The article in the following link included a good explanation about this:

("Differentiating Sulfur Compounds" - www.ITMOnline.org/arts/sulfa.htm)

Note: Thank you for the informative link.

We have heard this also, so conclude Dr. Mercola chooses to err on the side of caution in this matter.

Is MMS supposed to help with chemical toxins--such as herbicides or pesticides as well as heavy metals? I was a bit unclear after listening to these youtubes.

You may want to listen to the videos again.

Yes, MMS deals with all, and the best of it all, it neutralizes the metals.

If you are a science teacher, you probably can explain better

than I can.
