 Is it possible that I now am having a reaction from Doxy even though this is my 4-5th week on it?

I have had Lyme for about 4 years and just dx. I feel horrible the past few days...nausea, weak, feeling like my brain is moving slower than the rest of my body......I can't seem to get a call-back from my doctor to ask him.

 sounds like a herx., and die off in the brain... spirotcete die off in the brain... you could taper off, not take a full dose. doxy can be hard to tolerate, see if you can get doryx, it's the same thing, but name brand, and much easier to tolerate,

 I just posted in the other forum part, but with the doxy, you can break the capsule open, sprinkle a little in some applesauce, so you don't get a full dose, starting slowly. And eating is a must.
