I am so fed up with the cleveland clinic doctors. I had a Lyme test done in 2006, showed bands 41 and 23 igg positive. Been fighting different symptoms for years now, was sent to infectious disease this year for on going low grade fevers. They found I had mycoplasma infection and treated me for that with 2 weeks of azithromyacin and said I was better.

I still was having problems urinating and spazings in my bladder along with headaches that are so intense I get nauseous and this 100* fever that spikes at times.

They ran some more blood and among them wasa lyme igg/igm test that came back .40. Said shows past infection but that is it, and there is nothign they can do for past infections.

I need help I am only 27 and for years have been fighting something that has made me so ill... I need some direction, help on what to do. Quit my joband took leave from college in 06 and since making ends meet has been impossible with out my family,

I am a well educated lady that has such potential but cant be what I need to be...please help (I believe my 6 year oldson has been infectedas well..)

hi! please request a LLMD, Lyme literate medical doctor. please post in the doctor referral.

go back to group home, then back to forum, you will see first subject is doctor referral.

click on 'start new discussion'

give as much information as you can, you age, have you ever been treated, etc.

also if you live near a border state list that as well....

from that post someone will send you a PM personal message that you will find on the left under your user name.

please double space all information for the request and also on the forum.

thank you....

Oh, Icy! So sorry to hear all that you have been going through. Cleveland C is thought to be the Mecca for medical care, no wonder you thought you would finally get treatment!

Beaks is right, get a Lyme Literate doc, it will make all the difference! You will feel like you are being heard for the first time.

Incidentally, I have dealt w/ bladder issues for years w/o a diagnosis and I have the same bands that you do...and they told me my infection was old, too. I am in my 5th month of treatment and it's very hard, but good to know what I have (finally).

You are going to make it through this!

Hugs!

I just LOVE this (sarcasm).

Yes, they can do something. They can attempt to treat you and see if it helps.

I am sick of these idiot MD's "rules".

They aren't using their brains, they regurgitate what they are told instead of thinking for themselves.

BTW, I forgot until you mentioned it, I had bladder spasms and shooting pain down there until treatment.

I also love how 100, or 99 isn't a fever.

It wasn't a snake in the garden of eden, it was a spirochete.
