Deshi, I have Dr S's Babeisa book - he has a section on Alinia and says it is relativly new, but very promising in the treatment of babesia ...

He mentions it will be effective for lyme too ...

Among other things, here's what he says:

"The probably mechanism of effectiveness is through interference with the PFOR system which is essential for non-oxygen enery metabolism ` like what occurs in lyme"

He also says food will increase the blood level of Alinia ...

Sounds like a good choice ... please keep us updated ~

I am NOT a "lymie" ~ I loathe that term ... I will not be defined by the vile bacteria that will very soon be out of my system ~ If you consider yourself a "lymie" right now, what will you have left when you rid yourself of the bacteria ~ nothing ??? ... Don't be a "lymie", be YOURSELF and fight it ...

...

And by the torrent on the banks thereof on both sides shall grow all trees that bear fruit: their leaf shall not fall off, and their fruit shall not fail: every month shall they bring forth firstfruits, because the waters thereof shall issue out of the sanctuary:and the fruits thereof shall be for food, and the leaves thereof for medicine. ~ Ezekiel 47:12

Started Alinia 2 weeks ago and felt better than I have In 18 months. Have been living On IV rocephin just to keep going. No orals have ever worked for me and this with septra DS has been quite impressive. The only think I could find is a blog where after using Alinia she stopped blogging as she never thinks of lyme anymore.

Very hopeful

Well I promised a follow up on Alinia. At this time life stress has be preventing a recovery. I am however no back on IV at this time. So I would say it is worth while. Can give better feed back if Lyme or Life would behave. Not asking for both the behave just one or the other Laughing

Will give a better report when things get back to normal.

Need a source for Generic Alinia as the price of Brand ins $2000.00 ouch

Thanks, that helps about 200$ for a few months there. 2000$ for one month here.
