Hi Betty,

This is what I wrote to Jaime.

My husband just got his test results back from IgeneX.

His results were:

**31 ++

**34 +

**39 IND

**41 ++

58 +

Igenex IGG Positive

CDC/NYS Negative***means he will NOT be counted by cdc as a lyme statistic for your state!

My husband has been misdiagnosed for 16 months with asthma because of shortness of breath, until a month ago it went to possibly ALS.

my daughter in law researched Lymes and found out that it mimics ALS and other things, so that is why we had the test.

He just started antibiotics today.

Doxycycline 100 mg. twice daily for 4 weeks along with Fri.

I was wondering if you have heard of anyone else with Lymes who had a breathing problem.

His diaphragm is paralyzed and only working at 20% and is on a BiPap machine with 2L of concentrated room oxygen, only while he is sleeping as his normal oxygen is 97% to 98% as he has never smoked.

The Neurologist and ALS Specialist who has dealt with hundreds of ALS patients said this is only the second time he has ever seen it present with the breathing being the first worst symptom.

He has not shown any signs of leg or arm muscle weakness or problems with coordination.

Could this really have come from Lymes or Co-Infection Disease??

Thanks so much for being here for everyone.

Dixie
