So, these pains are daily?

Lately since my doctor increased my antibiotics and added Flagyl. I experience some form of stabbing pain daily and like said at night it's far worse.

I was much better on the lower dose of doxy. It's my hope that the increase and the addition of Flagyl is working and that is why I am feeling more pain than usual.

I read up on Flagyl a couple of days before I joined this group and from what I raed it can INCREASE neuropathic pain. My suggestion to you is to really research that med. on more than one website ( I think the best one is medline), if u feel like it's causing more pain and ur not herxing or maybe ur doing both, but u should definely let ur doctor know asap, but i would advise going in with some info u gather off the internet. I'm on doxy and think it does pretty well. But as you know there are different stains so who really know in the end.

Good luck

I've been doing Epsom salt baths. I was in so much pain in my legs last night, I just got up and soaked them in the hot, hot water with Epsom salt. It really helps. I have not had to take pain medication for this since I've been doing the Epsom Salt baths. Hope it helps.

Hi Pamela, I have found that lavender geranium and eucalyptus essential oils really help with neuropathic pain, You can add some as desired to your epsom bath and or rub them in topically, For me i mixed a small amount of Emu oil and essential oil together in a little 1 oz bottle.and rubbed it in, Emu is also quite famous as a anti infammatory, and helps with nerve pain. Hope that helps.

That little 1 oz bottle will last a long time too!

I took way too much Samento by accident (took 5 dropperfuls instead of 5 drops 3x a day). Got really sick but then my nerve pain in my feet was so much better that month. I want to experiment with Samento but the low doses (15 drops a day) don't do anything for my nerve but but high doses do. Not much research out there. Anybody else taking a higher dose of Samento?

Hi wellinwisconsin : Wow a true human Samento guinea pig!! Kidding. I figure theres roughly 15 drops per dropperful and you did 5x15=75 thats incredible. The max dose they say is 30. I have done 40 before with no probs..its supper time and i have 30 in me already..I noticed no change that i know of...however i did increase to 30/day and played a little with higher like 35 and what do ya know the nerve pain disappeared.I say (My opinion) if you can handle 15 no probs..shoot for 30/day and stay there.Getting well seems to come in such a subtle way you hardly notice..like wow my ears quit hissing..noticed that probably a day after they quit.I am really glad you messed up and drilled 75 into ya...what a good test...thats the funny side i am sure mega doses are safe anyway. But thats just my opinion and i have only been on Samento for 4.5 mths.

Hi there,

Where do you get these oils? Oh my God, there's so much to learn. You guys are awesome with all this knowledge. Also, where is the best place to get the Sarmento? I have been taking Cat's Claw but I think there's different versions of it, right? Thanks so much.

Pam pm either connie or Ron, they can tell you where to buy it. I can't remember where I got mine from, it was like 30.00 a bottle...I will try and find it and let you know. But pm Ron or connie they will get back to you about it.

I buy all my OILS at a health food store, or I have mine made for me, love lavender in my bath with my epsom salt, clove oil for my tooth, lemon oil I rub on my head for a headach, I could go on and on, I love all OILS....
