It has been awhile since I've been on here.

Probably about 2.5 months.

After I had finished my 21 days of doxy, everything went well, EXTREMELY well .... for a few weeks that is.

I had been getting B12 injections too--as the test results proved I was infact anemic.

Anyway, here I am back again because guess what?

Apparently the Doxy merely put me into remission for this Lyme thingy.

Soooo, as the symptoms returned they still weren't as 'bad' as they were b4 the Doxy. My symptoms returning were fatigue and a lot more sleeping but not nearly as much as a few months ago. Every symptom I had had in July returned but to abt 35% I guess.

It was pretty annoying, as I had hoped and believed I'd be "one of the one's" who conquered Lyme's w/the first shot or go around of antibiotics.

Why should I have thought otherwise??

Afterall, I live in an area that is labeled one of the hot beds for LD in the country, so every other person I know who took antibiotics [catching it either early or fairly early] never had a 'relapse' later ect.----even after YEARS! Unless they were rebitten by an infected tick. Plus I'm in pretty good health. For the past 3 yrs. have been walking a couple to a few times a week 4 miles, eat very healthy, blah, blah, blah.

Anyway, ABOUT SAMENTO !!!!! Smile --IT REALLY DOES WORK! Well for me it has been working. I've only been taking it for less than a week and right now am currently taking 3 drops 2x per day. So far all the illness I had been feeling b4hand has diminished probably about 70% if not a little higher than that. [Still have a few aches and pains, but lighter--much more mild] The fatigue has decreased a lot too. But still am feeling it somewhat.

I'd like to hear about other peoples success stories about Samento and what OTHER additional vitamins, supplements, herbs ect your taking [or took] to help you so much w/LD. {Please Cheerful }

As for me, well you already know about the Samento. But also I take a load more stuff daily. I'm still taking probiotics 1-2 per day, cod liver oil, liquid multi/mineral, olive leaf, B complex, B12 supplements.

And I had to change my diet around a lot too, however was already used to it because I'd changed it 3 yrs. ago anyway for a healthier lifestyle.

This post promises to be a biggy, and there is no way i could stay away from this one.Samento has saved my butt period.Taking other stuff but Samento has taken the Lyme symptoms away by 90%.I started July 10th and i was a mess ..the arthritis was very scary and the tissue pain.I am not going to mention all the other symptoms i am just going to keep it short..Samento kicks A##!,I am also on a few drops of P73 oil of oregano a day and going to get some olive leaf extract for extra insurance,I am however confident that Samento would beat Lyme all on its own,I am proof..wow 2 months and a couple of weeks..what a life saver.I have 11 1/2 bottles left in the cupboard and plan on taking it all and when the supply runs low going to order another 14 bottles...i am never going back to Lymes grip never ever.

Healing Rain....that's so awesome that Samento is working for you, too!!!

Samento was my main natural antibiotic. I was under the care of a physician in the South who 'prescribed' Samento for me. It has worked very well for me, too.

I also got B12 injections.

Are you taking probiotics? My ND recommended rotating probiotics every 30 days. I switched around from Prescript assist, to Flora Stor, to Multi Probioitc 4000. In the beginning of my treatment , some other supplements that I took were Monolaurin, Glutathione, trace minerals by Nutramedix. I also, took something called Scolopendrium...it's made in Germany and distributed by Marco Pharma. Scolopendrium helps to support your detox organs and I also took something called hepatica...it's easy to tell that was to help support my liver. I think enzymes are very beneficial for us, too. I take something called beta plus by biotics research.

That's just a few that I took. There were several more, but those are probably the most 'universal.'

I'm sure others will be along to comment as well.

That's good that you eat 'healthy'. I think that plays a big role in recovery, too. I just got back from a visit to my clinic on Wednesday and my ND mentioned the importance of changing the internal terrain of your body so that it is no longer conducive to the growth and replication of these horrible bacterias and viruses.

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

Open your mind to the possibilities available to you.

An attitude of gratitude is good 'medicine,' too.

I am still budgeting to buy Samento. Everyone here writes so positively of their experiences w/it. I am currently taking the antibiotic route & it is working for me. I will stay on these meds forever (hopefully NOT) before I EVER going back to being as sick as I was, but what I am curious about is if anyone ever tried Samento while on different oral antibiotics in order to wean off antibiotics?

I am in-between docs right now and don't have a LLMD. I would love to try this based on the positive experiences of folks here (of course I would consult w/a doctor). If I could do so w/out going backwards in any way, and of course if I could afford to, because right now insurance pays for antibiotics, but nothing else.

Connie, with the B12 injections, what type of improvements did you see, if I may ask? Do you still need those?

Is there one reference anyone uses that helps them keep straight the different herbal remedies/suppliments specifically for Lyme? Thanks for all the welcome information, in advance, as I know that folks here never let anyone down.
