MDJunction to me

"When I first came to MDJ, I was in a very dark place, and feeling quite alone, I don't know how I found this site, but I have been very grateful ever since, all of you have offered insight to the illness of Bipolar and the other things going on with me, being here has allowed me to find friends, and to feel safe in discussing things that I would never have shared before.

I believe it has also offered me the chance to reach out and help others. A simple Thank you, is all that I have to offer, to this site and to the wonderful people here.

I think something might be happening. The other day I ran to the chicken coop and back. It's not far but I haven't been able to do that in a long time. Today I vacuumed the entire house, well it's a single wide mobile so it's not very big but that's the first time I was able to do that since I don't know when. And I wasn't faint, or dizzy or weak. My heart wasn't pounding. I'm afraid to hope too much. I've been up and down a lot with this illness but I feel really darned good.

Another thing is that I have an infected tooth. I took penicillin for it but it didn't do much. When I started taking Samento it slowly went down to almost nothing. I was taking it three times a day at the time and decided to start taking it two times instead. But then the infection started to grow quite quickly again. Almost half my face was swollen. I was getting worried because all I can afford right now is to get it pulled and I'd rather hold off on that as long as possible.

Anyway, I went back to taking it three times a day, actually four times/day, I woke up and took it in the middle of the night too. After only 2 days the infection was back down even smaller than before.

It's amazing. Now I know without a doubt that Samento and Cat's Claw too I guess, can fight bacterial infections. I have more hope now than I have had in a very long time.

Congrats, Bonski! That's awesome. Here's hoping it keeps up! *crosses fingers*
Just because it's impossible doesn't mean it can't happen.

I'm not a doc, so anything I say is my opinion only. Nothing I say is meant as offense, I offer what I can as help.

I believe in educating myself on all my medical issues and being my own advocate, for no one else with do that on my behalf. I recommend we all do the same!

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Perhaps I truly am insane for expecting these docs to listen to me when I say the same things repeatedly to no avail? LOL. I am tired of seeking out new docs and getting the same result time and again...Forgive me if I seem bitter some days.

Thanks, Fluffyluggage!!

LOL Ron! I't's amazing how much I enjoyed vacumming. And then to wake up to clean floors. Heaven! Normally I could never have the whole house swept at once, and vacuuming at all was too heavy. I certainly hope this is a trend!

Another change I forgot to mention is my temperature. It's been low for a long time at 36.2C or about 96.4F. Now it's often close to normal. It still goes low sometimes, the lowest I've seen it

36.4C/96.7F. Still low but moving in the right direction.
