Samento

New Life Liver Detox

Teasel

Enzymedica Digest Gold (enzymes)

New Life Critical Care Probiotics

Malic Acid

Magnesium/calcium/zinc

5-htp

Genacol (collagen-joint pain and sleep)

MSM

ribose

B-12 tablets

Whole Food Multi-vitamin/mineral

Biaxin 1,000mg

Thanks.

I love my Samento sooo much.

Acidophilis, I never miss that. It's helped a lot.

Milk Thistle for my liver.

Vitamins C, D, Zinc, B's, Cal/Mag, CoEnzyme Q10.

Lots of uncooked oils, flax, coconut, olive, vegie, sunflower.

Lots of herbs in my meals, garlic, italian seasoning, curry etc.

I probably forgot some but that's the basics.

Hi Peg:

I am on a gazillion supplements, but the bigs ones for me that you don't seem to be taking are Vitamin C and Sea Salt.

I also am taking low dose heparin. This is a prescription medication, it supports the Lyme treatment and it is wonderful. I would be in much worse shape without it.

I have written more about heparin and Vitamin C in my blog. I am just getting it going and would love more readers! I am hoping it will be helpful to other people, as I feel my recovery is going well.

Please read it if you are interested: www.lymestory.com

Thanks, and good luck to you!

Over the years I have run the gauntlet, with just about all of these that have been mentioned -

My best results -

whole food supplements - I did Juice Plus

DID phenominal during my second pregnancy (twins too)

and one I am getting back on

Zrii - have only done it for a month, then had to stop - $$ and stuff...but wow - by the end of that - my little things were clearing up.

I dont want to go into details - as these are bought through mlm stuff and I dont want to come off as advertising - cuz i am not - but the products themselves are great. my mom is on zrii, and the doc is having really really awsome results with.

Well here is my list...much like the rest of yours. Besides the ABX that I am on Doxy & Falgyl for now I take the following supplements and follow a certain diet.

Supplements (I take these every day):

B-Complex

Vitamin C - 1000mg a day

Prima Una de Gato TOA FREE Cat's Claw - great article here on the benefits of TOA FREE cats claw and Lyme disease http://www.gordonresearch.com/answers/ prima_una_de_gato_cats_claw_for_chronic_illnesses.html

Fish Oil - 2000mg a day

Multi Vitamin

Magnesium - 2x day Slo-mage specifically

Garlic tablets

iFlora Multi Probiotics - 2x a day - http://www.findsupplements.com/sedonalabs.aspx? gclid=CJ7mldr7nJYCFQOIFQodZ0G07A

A drink called Zrii it seems to help. http://www.zrii.com/

Close to a gallon of water a day

Diet:

I just eat very low fat, low carbs, high protein. If I do eat grains they are 100% whole wheat or 100% whole grain.

Exercise:

Light weights - 3x a week

Jog - when I can and depending on how I am feeling

Martial Arts - Hapkido specifically 2x a week. It not only helps for exercise but the stretching and meditation deep breathing exercises help with stress. Not to mention kicking, punching, and throwing people across the room is a good way to alleviate stress. Helps to kick something...lol.

I would highly recommend massage therapy and acupuncture if you can afford it. At the very least the massage therapy. I try and do a massage twice a month. I feel great for about 3 days after massages.

I don't know about everyone else but stress is terrible for me with this disease. The more stressed I am the worse I feel I get horrible flare ups when under to much duress.

Hope that helps.

Also, I do a detox bath once a week to remove toxins. http://www.ourlittleplace.com/detox.html

I do a detox bath of about a cup of Hydrogen Peroxide, 2 cups of Epsom Salts, 2 cups of baking soda, and throw a few capfuls of some nice smelling aromatherapy oil...just for effect...lol.

It helps.

If you can get a chlorine filter for your tub that would be great. I don't have one because I am a little low on cash right now....they are only about $50. Chlorine is bad with this disease...so I've been told.

Larry - good regimine - wish i had the funds to do so - gonna start back up with the zrii - after 1 week all my floaters were gone, and at the end of the 1 month (all the supply i had) my aches and pains were considerably less. tight budget sux!!!

slo-mag is really good too

garlic such a good tonic - i try to include it in most meals - so the kids love it...

Stress is IMO such a common trigger - I think for you it is just a matter of time...before feeling better.

take care

Christine

I hear you on the financial crunch...it really sucks. Money is always tight for me.

As far as the Zrii I horde that stuff..lol. I drink about 2 oz a day so it lasts about a month. I would drink more but like you said along with all the other stuff I have to buy to combat these critters it's more of a money factor. I purchase a bottle once a month from the Doctor.

Your right stress is a killer. I asked my wife the other day...I said wife please bare with me here while I am going through this...and try to understand if I walk away from an argument it's not that I don't care it's just that I need to keep my stress to a minimum or I'm going to feel like S**T!

I feel for her as much as I try to explain how I am feeling she still doesn't understand the severity of it.
