Clayton & Connie:

I can't agree MORE. I also am a firm believer in alternative meds, much better the abx that only destroy your liver and your body...The abx's I was on killed my stomach and I'm still trying to get it back to "NORMAL"....

I love "The natural route"....

Well all the feedback so far on Samento has been really interesting. The negative from a real doctor however kind of sent me for a loop.I am going to stick with it..in fact from all i have learned so far it may very well be the preferred treatment. There are plenty of docs out there perscribing Samento according to the internet in the UK and Europe.I feel way better since i started it and my appetite has increased dramatically..I am hungry now all the time and gaining some lost weight back. The ringing in my ears disappears now for a few hours a day(wow) and my hands are totally flexible and usable. The hypoglycemic symptoms have vanished now also.Basically i am down to being tired after being up for over 6 hrs and hand occasional foot pain.I am not going to let that little bottle out of my sight!

Hello,

I am also going to the same clinic as Connie, Clayton ARF and others on this forum. My Dr. is an MD and says he could perscribe conventional antibiotics if it was necessary but he feels in the long run the lyme will just come back because of a weakened immune system. I am taking samento and cumanda and artimisinin which are all herbal antibiotics as well as other supportive medicines. I have had to go very slowly only adding one drop each week, everyone is different. I am doing much better after five weeks of treatment. The other concern with convential abx is the build up of yeast in your body and lots of probiotics are needed to restore the good bacteria in your system. This is of course my opinion and I am putting faith in my Dr. as he has had great success with treating much sicker lyme patients than me.

Good luck on your quest to get well,

Denise

Hey everyone,

First of all, to answer organic texan's question about how many drops....it depends on your individual tolerance. It sounds like most of us can handle about 10 drops per day. There were times when I could only take one to four drops, otherwise I would herx. I mix my drops in about 4 ounces of water , wait about two minutes and drink...always on an empty stomach. Last summer, I did work up to 30 drops per day. That was when I also took burbur, parsley, cumanda, and amantilla. I also took pinella(a brain nerve cleanse). All these were by nutramedix.

I would be happy to post all of my supplements that I took. However, remember that my regimen was prescribed by my MD and ND. It was an individualized program. My doc doesn't treat any two patients the same. I'll need some time to round up my old bottles. Right now is not a good time, (I have three children that need to eat breakfast and they need me....I will have time on Monday...so stay tuned ).

To lymemd...I suppose this is new information for you. I recovered from lyme and coinfections WITHOUT A SINGLE CONVENTIONAL ANTIBIOTIC. So, where did you get your information that samento hasn't cured anyone? (I am not meaning to sound like a 'smart alec' at all...I'm glad you're here...but there are other ways to recover from lyme that don't include conventional antibiotics). I definitely won't say it was the single bullet that wiped out my lyme and coinfections. However, I believe it played a BIG role in my recovery. Samento was my major natural antibiotic.

There are other ways to recover from lyme. Conventional antibiotics are a great tool. However, for me, I was willing to try alternative methods first. I'm so glad I did. It worked for me. I have my life back. I'm running again. My head is clear. I don't have those clobbering headaches anymore and so much more. I'm better!!!!

Glad to hear your are doing better on the samento Buckron. ( I had ringing in my ears,too...so annoying).

Peace,

Connie

Hi,

Yes, natural protocols are proving to be very effective in treating LD and co-infections. I highly recommend Buhner's book: http://tinyurl.com/6yp3ep

(note to lymemd)

This is fact..there is no cure for Lyme Disease. It's a free for all when it comes to getting well.. As Burrascano says, "Think wellness, not cured". There is no test to prove lyme is "cured" and many relapse even years later. I am glad you admit being biased...Rx is not the only path, read Buhner's book, open your practice to all possibilities...many LLMD's use both.

Natural protocols may be the closest cure their is, they are getting people well.

Look for books as well by Klinghardt, one of the countries best natural LLMD's.

Abx are proving in many cases only to "suppress"..Bb is so "intelligent" it can evade most abx, produce cysts and bio films making it inpenetratable.

If you change the "terrain" of the internal body, bacteria cannot survive.

Also Burrascano says you can take abx forever and never be well if you don't excercise...this is important for getting well, the singl most important factor.

Ask your LLMD or (homeopathic Md) about natural detox/strengtheners like Pekana...excellent product line: http://www.pgosch.com/pekprod/pekoverview.html

Nutramedix is well known and trustworthy in my opinon.

One thing I know I have learned, if something is working stick with it, if Samento is giving you your life back - what more can you ask for?

I just looked at Buhner's book he recommends Rain Tree cats claw.

My sister said it did more good for her than any abx.

Congratulations on feeling good enough to chop wood!

My immune system is definitely stronger. I'm sure Samento helped me out in many ways besides just killing bugs. It is an immune booster, too. Plus, my immune system was REALLY tested this past May when I found that new tick attached to my head. The symptoms I had from the new infections were somewhat bothersome for a few weeks, but that was all, more of a nuisance than anything. I started taking samento every day when I found the new tick.

Hello,

I'm on the Stephen Buhner herb protocol for Lyme, and yes he does recommend Rain Tree Cat's claw. He also has a lengthy explanation why your cat's claw does NOT have to be TOA-free. I can't go into it all here, but it has to do with one very faulty study being disseminated everywhere and people picking up on it. He says the TOAs were actually partially helpful, not harmful in any way. Read it in the book if interested.

That said, I'm sure there's nothing wrong with Nutramedix's Samento -- it's just that you don't have to pay the greater expense for TOA-free cat's claw. Considering the number of supplements and herbs and doctors and everything else we are often on, that makes some sense. It appears that lots of people have been helped by both the full herb and the TOA-free formulation.
