MDJunction to me

Hazeldee"MDJunction means that I no longer have to feel like I am the only person in
the world with pericarditis. It means that I can talk to others who know
how stressful and how painful having pericarditis can be. It means that I
connect with others to discuss treatments that have or haven't worked for us, so that we have a leg to stand on. I think that having my friends at
MDJunction has allowed me to better mentally and emotionally process my
diagnosis and what it means to me. I feel so lucky to have this community
available to me. I use MDJunction as a way to use my experience to help
others. Reaching out to help others is the only solace I have found since
being diagnosed with pericarditis.

: New Lodge in Wisconsin to be opened for Lyme disease Patients

We are opening a lodge in Wisconsin, due to the great work of Nurse Marjorie Moorehouse, for the temporary housing unit for Lyme patients, nationally.

The goal is to have homeless Lyme patients for several months until we can get them in a permanent environment, with Disability, Soscial Services benefits, etc.

Donations are needed to keep this project afloat for

costs;

food;

individual supplies such as shampoo, etc.;

transportation costs for Lyme disease patients from other states to the location;

salaries for two nurse supervisors; and

salary for the groundskeeper/janitor.

Each patient would have an individual room, already furnished.

There is a Great Room, utility room, a room with rehab equipment, and a massive kitchen.

Please donate securely through PayPal on our website:

www.lduc.org

or you can mail your donations to:

LDUC PO Box 465 Boone IA 50036.

To get your questions answered call 515-432-3628.

Many Lyme patients are very weak and sick, and are soon to be evicted from their apartments or homes.

The lodge is established, and we will be accepting patients this month, but donations are very necessary for this project.

Many thanks on behalf of Lyme patients in great need,

Judith Weeg, President LDUC
