SO, I now have two Matt's over fighting this war. My cousin, who has made the Marine's his career, we grew up like brother and sister, he's been there for a few weeks now. Before he left, he found out that his wife was pregnant with thier second child. Last time he was supposed to go, he had to have back surgery, so he couldn't go....thank God. He wouldn't have come home. So we are praying and hoping for a better mission this time.

My step brother is also there now too. The gov't moved his family (wife, 3 kids and him) from USA to Japan in January, just to deploy him a few months later. His dad just lost a son to suicide last year....it was just aweful. (my other step brother), he was only 18. So if this one doesnt come home, you can imagine.

Please send positive energy for ALL our men and women fighting for us and their families back home. Even if you don't believe in the war, they are doing a job most of us can not or would not, and making huge sacrifices.

Also, my aunt is dying from metastisized cancer, all the sisters are flyig down there tomorrow, don't think she's going to make it. She's lived 5 years of chemo prolonging things, and it's really taking a toll on her now. She's done fighting. She's ready. I just hope it is fast and as pain free as can be. I kinda know how she feels, if someone told me I was certainly dying I don't know how long I could fight. At least I have a chance of getting well, and for that I will fight.

Thank you my friends I appreciate it.

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

i know you are Julie....I do appreciate it.

My mom just flew down to florida to my aunt. Her heart is going now. Her whole body is full of cancer. And her kidneys are shutting down. I just hope she goes peacefully. which is silly to say. Much of what I've been reading on dying, it is very peaceful, and wonderful. (I had to read these things, I've been a wreck lately) But I'm glad I did, I feel much better about a lot of things, mentally speaking.

Hi Kiddo:

Yes death is very peaceful, that I truly believe in...Soon she will be in heaven, free from pain...

I know its hard on you, if you need to talk just email me anytime...Death is hard to handle and when sick its even harder.

Watching my mom die is very hard, I live it everyday, but I'm happy I'm her caregiver, I told her the other day, "I will take you out of this world holding your hand, as you brought me into this world" that gives me peace...

I'm praying for you kiddo..It will be alright, soon your aunt will be with our maker..

Hugs

Julie

awe, thank you sweetie. it's so hard for us to understand, but really death is just another birth. I have read a few books on it latey. Mainly because I was having panic attacks about dying and leaving my kids behind. (evil forbodings), the one "embraced by the light" by betty eadie is amazing. quick easy read too. you should chceck it out. You are so sweet to you mom, that is what I will be with mine when the time comes, right there by her side.

hugs,

j

Julie and Jamie,

YOu both are soo full of love and strength and courage.

I admire you both for all you do and all you give.

My grandma just passed on last week. Although I am sad, I do believe she is enjoying her new spititual being.

Jamie, You know I am right there with ya sista and those ugly thoughts. I have been doing a ton of meditating and have learned a lot. The thoughts have eased a bit, but I do think much of it is DNA based and passed on from all our foremoms.. So all we have to do is change our cellular structure, retrain our minds and take back the control of our bodies from the lyme. Shouldn't be too difficult(heehee).

Anyway, both of you keep shining bright and many prayers and thoughts are with you and your loved ones.

AMY

My thoughts and prayers are with you, too. It is so hard losing someone that you love so much. I lost a very special Aunt back in 1994...I can't believe it's been that long. In some ways, she is still here....I named my oldest daughter after her. Sometimes people will say things similar to what she used to say, and I'll think of her and smile secretly to myself. So, you don't really lose them, you just miss them.

Lots of positive thoughts for you coming your way.

Connie, you are so right. If we are open to it, and in tune with things , they are always here with us. It's just the living that death causes issues for. I think she's tired of fighting. I mean, she's been fighting this terminal cancer for years. If someone told me I had NO chance of getting well from lyme, I don't know how long I could fight for. And she's been amazing about it. She's tired now ... our bodies can only take so much.

I need to call my mom and find out how everything is going. I'm hoping with most of her sisters there it will give her the peace to let go.

thank you , all of you.
