hi guys, I have always received the needed help on this board and though I would post this here, maybe someone here has had dealt in the past with bullies online. (it's called cyber bullying and it's punished by law in many states). I am a member of another forum, and a few member from there are constantly being hateful towards me and bullying me. They have stated false stataments about me, made fun of me on several threads, they attacked my home country and system on numerous occasions, they're constantly picking up on me (whilst all the other users are witnessing this and no one is saying a word), more over there are the secondary bullies in the scheme that now feel guilty about teaming up with the bullies. (that in my opinion have a mental disorder of some sort, I can't be sure). The bullies are some of the site leaders, I am a site leader as well, but just wasn't entitled as moderator. (so in other words they're abusing "power". They have constantly been defaming me on numerous threads, I have been neutral and told them to stop. Now to top it all, they have started making fun of my Lyme Disease (I have a link on my signature and they all know about Lyme Disease, and for about two days in a row they started humiliating me on the forum about my health conditions, calling me delusional and mentally ill. (this has led me to ask for more help of how to deal with the bullies. (becausse they clearly are bullies and they won't admit it). I have contacted the site's owner for instance to see how he deals with them, and then I will probably proceed a law suit against all of them. (it is unacceptable to make fun of someone's illness, in my opinion) anywhere be in on the street on in the form of cyberbullying online. Please guys help me out a bit, I am not sure where to go at now, these guys should not be on the forum and they're probably bullying others and harassing them on several other online communities. (I have a particular thread on file where they have been bullying me and constantly not admitting it). Thank a lot guys. Alex I probably contracted Lyme Disease and other tick-borne co-infections when I was 4 or 5 when I found two ticks stuck on my right side of the neck.
I went un-diagnosed until adulthood, developed severe symptoms suddenly at 19 and I struggle with them to this day.

evelinawill, it seems the "support group" that you belong to does not actually offer any "support". Hence, just discontinue being a member there and focus your energy on the lyme-group instead ie there will be no cyber bullying here (differences of opinions for sure but hopefully no personal attacks) |

@devmark Clearly they are not supporting anyone, I know for instance that the site's owner doesn't even manage the website (the website isn't lyme realated, would be out of the chart to make fun of someone about their Lyme Disease on a Lyme Board, this forum I am bullied on is a general forum, mainly focused on quitting smoking and swedish snus), that I have been a member of for almost two years. Thanks a lot Mark for the advice, I still feel that this is more serious than the bullies even imagine it is. I probably contracted Lyme Disease and other tick-borne co-infections when I was 4 or 5 when I found two ticks stuck on my right side of the neck.

well human kind is despicable in many ways because we are NOT rational and objective in our actions. People in general tend to be selfish, stupid and inconsistent. Society as a whole is also based upon flawed assumptions ie wealth distribution which makes the system flawed to begin with. Remember, you cant control what happens to you in life but you can control how you react to. Such insight has helped me on numerous occasions. |

I have been neutral to avoid conflict, hence they have continued to act this way. I know a lot of people are selfish, stupid, self-centered and even psycopats but when it comes to picking someone about his own illness/country/life it's becoming serious in any context. I believe my reaction was the best one possible on this forum and never attempted to respond rudely. Thanks Bug50, definitely I will not access the forums anymore, it's been great for a while, but things have just got of the track with some of the members. I would have posted the thread here but it contains some very violent picture that I don't find appropriate for mdjunction. (the pictures are also posted by the bully) He thinks they a joke. (otherwise I see no reason to post them on the specific thread.)
