My credit card company has flagged my Lyme doctors charges as unallowed and proceeded to lock my card and online account. I called last week and thought I had this sorted out. The office attempted to charge again today and the again the charge was not allowed although they did not lock my card or account this time.

Has anyone else had troubles like this with Lyme related charges? This is the first time that charges have not been accepted in over two years. My doctor has made charges successfully at least five times without issue previous to this.

P23 and P41 bands positive, IBS like symptoms caused by possible candida, herbal and antiobiotic treatment, gluten free, candida diet.

I do not have a medical license so my suggestions are limited to personal experience and research. Also I am not a lawyer so if I offer advice relating to school issues it is only from my experiences as a special education teacher, my own disabilities real or Lyme induced, and research.

Betty they said it was an unknown provider which is bs since I have put their services on this card before. I talked to the manager tonight and said that if things don't get fixed I'd have my dad call them. He is on the board of this bank and the reason that I used this bank almost exclusively at the moment. This comment finally got some people moving sad that it requires such.

Not something I like to use and certainly didn't mention it when I called last week because then it could have been a mistake. Two years ago the bank that I was using allowed charges for proactive to venezula which I closed out soon after getting things settled with my current account.

That's BS!!! Don't tell me the government isn't in on this. I have the same thing happen

when I see my LLMD. I thought it was just their terminal or something. Now I know

better. The 1st. time I had to go to an ATM. The 2nd. time, thank God, I brought my

check book. (I don't carry a check book anymore because of my debit card & I pay my

bills on line.) I wonder how many more people have also had this happen to them?

UN- FREAKIN'- BELIEVABLE!!!

Yeah I thought sure that they would have flagged it when I went for my first appointment some 800 dollars. My boyfriend has suggested that I go to my branch today to try and get some real answers since I am not being told why this merchant was flagged.

I reserved hotel rooms yesterday in another state no problems, but they would not allow my doctor's charges. I should have just used a check at this point would have been less headache.

Raven sad to hear that you have had a similar experience. I don't use checks much either other than rent and a loan.

Someone has a Lyme disease the truth poster in the crowd on the today show this morning!

rowergirl and raven -- so, so sorry this is happening to you! Have you checked to see if there is co-ownership of the bank and an insurance company?

That would be very interesting to find out ...

My bank finally resolved this issue. A few more days to get everything ironed out. A big mess though.
