MDJunction to me

nvrsubtle"Not having any local Bipolar support groups where I live, MDJuntion has given me a place in which people understand what I am going through and has given me a new outlook on life with support that is real and good. Without
the support that I receive from MDJunction, I would be wandering through
life with no one who understands me. I owe so much to MDJunction for giving
me a life line to help get me through the toughest times.

YES as long as it's not sugar free chocolate full of sorbitol - you will never get out of the bathroom if you indulge on it. Made that mistake too. Of course eating a whole bag didn't help matters

You are sooo right! I need to stop these bad habits NOW. I know the caffeine and candy is bad. Last week a co-worker got on my case for wanting a piece of candy. I flipped out and resented him for it. (he's big into weight lifting). He also got mad at the co-worker who bought the candy, and who was wanting to give it to me. I got upset because I couldn't have candy and because he was giving us a hard time about it... Later, I thought about it, from his perspective and thought...you know... maybe he's right. The little piece of sugar is controlling what I do and effects my actions... I need the caffeine limited too, but not restricted completely... I have to stay on my feet for long hours...I workout during my lunch break and sometimes that caffeinated boost, gives me an awesome workout. However, I do need to CONTROL the quantity. I need to carry a small 5 oz. bottle and avoid the 32 oz. cups that is given to me during lunch! ugh

I am not sure I am familiar with sorbitol?

I'm more into jolly ranchers and soft chewy juicy fruit things... (uh oh, maybe that's sorbitol? LOL)

I'm not big into chocolate, with one exception... REESE's peanut butter cups. ugh. Easter egg reeses send me into a another zone. W00t

Okay, I'm being counter-productive. None of those for me this year! Silly Whistling

I can do this....!

Any of the artifical sweetners like sorbitol have the ability to affect the intestinal track which for most of us is already a mess. Moderation is the name of the game. You might notice that those sweeteners will also make you gassy....

Excuse the spelling Im having a real hard time today thinking. Bad brain fog. lol it just took me 3 tries to spell brain

I'm weighing in early. 126 down a couple, don't remember what it was a few weeks ago when I posted. I think it was 127 or 128. So down.

thank you for responding toothfairy Smile

I do have a sensitive tummy, so avoiding that additive is something I need to avoid.

Minus 0.5. Jippie, maybe I am back on track again

As of artificial sweetener, I cut them out when I was really sick since I believe they work as inflamatories.
