MDJunction to me

"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

I am really disappointed at what’s going on within the group over the last few days.

The Lyme group was a symbol for how to do things right and how people should act.

I will not allow any fight coming in from the different lyme sites to enter this group and I will personally remove from the site any member (veteran or new) that will assault other members, start fights and not follow our goal of PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE.

I am sorry it has come to this, but something is very wrong right now and it wasn’t like it before.

Pls inform me or the group leaders by PM of any member who is not following our guidelines.

I hope you’re all enjoying the long weekend,

roy

Roy,

I could not agree with you more. I was thinking your same thought last night after I logged on. We are hear to HELP one another, we are sick, we need advice and support from each other. I have no idea what has happend nor why, but it has to end.

I myself feel, if you don't don't agree with what someone will say, just stay away from that post, fighting back and forth about who is right and who is wrong, well in my eyes is not worth my time nor energy.

I do think people on the board have to be careful in how they speak on the board, sometimes it gets a little out of hand...Insulting at times.

I'm glad you sent out this email.

Have a wonderful Holiday today, going to be 90 here, nice and hot..

Julie

I agree 100% ,Roy.

I do not like what has been going on here lately. It causes stress and stress causes illness. We don't need that kind of stress.

I agree with you, too Julie. Some posts have been a bit insulting at times. That's a waste of time. It is my opinion that we are here to lift each other up, to help and be supportive. This is one of the worst diseases to have and one of the hardest to recover from. We do not need unnecessary stress in our lives, too.

Peace,

Connie

I am very new to this group, just about two weeks now. I have noticed that some posts turn "catty". Everyone is here for advice either to give it or to receive it. With LD there is no right or wrong answer from what I have seen. I hope the comments stop as well, no one needs the added stress.

I didn't add to this post earlier, I started my own, a MUST READ last chance warning for all. this catty behaviour isn't going to be tolerated at all,..if someone has a problem with a post, no need to go back and forth, everyone has opinions. and recently I found out somoene from other groups are having issues with either myself or my other group leaders and members because we arne't supportive, and to that I say, come to me and tell me, be adult. We are supportive. I dont know anyone who works as hard as me and my group leaders do, we don't get paid, we do this for hours a day becuase we want to help people. same with our wonderful members here.

when it comes to LD nobody really knows anything, not the doctors, not us, no treatment is the same, we're here for advice, telling what we've done, read, heard. it's up to each of us to decide what coarse of action to take.

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.
