I can't even come close to expressing how thankful and grateful I am that I have this wonderful man in my life who took the time to read that link I sent out last night on my blog. He loves me so much that he's taking very very good care of me every second that he is able to and I feel so very lucky that I don't have to do all this alone..........

I had trouble waking up this morning. Tony (My beloved) had to take our son to school cause god forbid Kyle (my son) set his alarm and get his 14 year old lazy butt up himself for son time and I just couldn't move today. I hurt everywhere. When he got back I tried to open my eyes and it was as if someone was taking a machete through the front part of my skull when the sunlight hit my eyes! I was instantly nauseated, I hurt everywhere and the pain my head was unbearable. I started to cry, only making it worse and he ran to the kitchen to get me a pill. I didn't want it, I thought it might pass, but he made me take it anyways. I didn't even know before today that you could wake up with a migraine......it's still there now, and my body is still achey, but I rested and it's just looming now. Not as bad though and I just had to get up, even though he told me I should stay in bed and rest for a few more hours. I hate staying in bed all the time. I think if I stayed in bed, my body would hurt more so I wanted to try to move around a bit. He knows this so he said when I was ready to come back to bed in a little bit, since he just finished the night shift and had to get some sleep, he would be there to hold me when I came back to bed.

I am supposed to go with a girlfriend today to help her pick out a dress for her sons wedding today and then KK (Kailey-my daughter) has a Lacrosse game this evening. I think I will skip the shopping so I can rest until the game. I hate to do that to her, but I have to conserve my energy and my daughter is more important today. Maybe we can do the dress thing next week. The wedding isn't till late June. Btw, somewhere in the mess of this migraine morning my daughter called from school and she had left her glasses at home so my husband had to drop everything and run them to her before her math test...just one more thing, huh?

I'm a little pissed about this infiltration of my day though, I had plans today! I wanted to go get the groceries we needed, I have nothing left to make for the kids lunches for school tomorrow. I wanted to go shopping with my friend, and then come home and make dinner for my family while working on getting our pool in swimmable condition before going to KK's game and watch her kick some LAX butt......now I'll be lucky to make it to the game and probably order dinner since I doubt I'll be up to cooking. This sucks. Why can't I be normal? Why does everything always have to be so hard? Ever since I've been back on the Doxy I feel like crap all the time again....uhhgg....

Ok, I'm done with my morning whine..........thanks~

Ugh, Savvy -- we feel for you!

Keep truck'n, girl! You'll get through it. I'm using natural antibiotics for my Lyme - it doesn't make me sick. (Samento works pretty well!). I can tell the difference when I'm not taking it.

Hope you make it through to the game - feel better!

Thanks so much Clayton~ It was a tough day. I ended up going back to bed for several hours and had to drag myself up in time for my daughters game. (she scored two goals!! yay!!) I felt like I was asleep for most of the game and my eyes were doing this weird leaking thing through the whole game, it was like I was balling like a baby, but not emotional, is that a symptom or an allergy I wonder??? I don't know..it was weird.

Anyways, I wasn't aware there there are natural antibiotics? Can you tell me more about it? I've also heard that there are special diets you can follow but no one seems to know where to get them in my circle of friends, they've just all heard of them...

Is anyone on here from the Hudson Valley?

Really???? I see a chiropractor every week. They are so worried about me, but are not at all Lyme Literate. They know it exists, but just don't have a clue how to treat it. They suggest things for the symptoms that might help but that's about it. The chiropractry really helps with the migraines though. The part of my spine where my neck is was curved almost completely backwards when I started there, can you imagine how much worse they would be with the lyme on top of that if I didn't go??? It's crazy! I am actually close enough to this group that I will ask them to start looking into how they can treat it. The disease is so prevalent here in this area that if they know how to treat it, they will get more business so that might be a good angle for getting them to do the work for me!

Savvy,

You can go to the Lyme Disease Association web site, or contact the moderator of this group, Jaime, and she will help you find a doc. I would do that first, before asking my Chiropractor.

By the way, a painful, cramping, stiff neck is an overlapping symptom of Lyme and babesia. I should ask the government to declare my neck a disaster area, it's so bad sometimes.

I have what I call the 'Niagra Eye' - when I get tired it just pours out tears - usually just one eye. So annoying!

There are many natural antibiotics - samento, olive leaf, colloidal silver.... etc.

I'll send you a link that might help.

Oh I'm just full of fun stuff! I have so many symptoms from day to day I don't know what's going on! It seems like every day there's something new and I just feel ridiculous most of the time! I do cry easy, but this is different...and my eyes do leak easy too...but this was like seriously..lol, I guess like Niagra falls! HAHA!

As for my neck, I actually have had a lot of trouble with stiffness over the last several months from the lyme, but I also have a few herniated discs in there as well...fun stuff huh? I thought there was only one, but my latest neurologist that read my mri's said she saw three so I am not sure they were read right the first time. I do know that my right hand goes numb frequently and I was told it was from that, but I think that might be part lyme as well....

Has anyone else had problems with weight gain from this? Not from meds? But from Lyme? Also, what about Sleep apnea? I would bet all the money I have, both nickels, that my sleep apnea is caused by LYME. Anyone have any theories?
