Hi - I am looking for a lyme literate doctor in RI (anywhere). Will travel to CT or MA. This if for my son who is 15 years old and suffers from Lyme Rages. He went to a NP in RI where his tests came back negative. He was put on Mepron and an antibiotic,at my suggestion. He herxed severely a few days later. The herx was in the form of a major rage. I transferred him to a naturopath where he is doing herbal (Byron White) treatments. This has resulted in a longer treatment and healing period. He does not want to take meds when he has an outburst. I am taking him for an psych evalutation in two weeks, but when he has outbursts he is uncontrollable. I might also add that he is close to 6 feet and about 240 lbs. I am looking for someone (preferably a psychiatrist) who will work in conjunction with a naturopath or another lyme doctor that will be able to help him. Thanks for all your help.

Sending you a PM, locking this post.

I am not a doctor, just a patient striving for recovery and hoping to offer support to others, too! Many blessings to you!
